Mary Reilly


I lead the peripheral nerve clinical and research group in the MRC Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases at the Institute of Neurology (ION), University College London, based at Queen Square, London, UK and I am also head of the Division of Clinical Neurology in the Institute of Neurology. My team has a longstanding interest in the clinical management and research in the inhertied peripheral neuropathies. Our interests include gene identification and studies into the pathogenesis, natural history studies, development of outcome measures and conducting clinical trials in inherited neuropathies. I have developed a successful research programme in inherited neuropathies and am a co-director of the MRC Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases. I am currently President of the Association of British Neurologists (ABN) and past President of the international Peripheral Nerve Society (PNS)
