“Principal Investigator” of a Finalized Research Project of the Ministry of Health “Presbyphagia: anaysis of diagnostic criteria and identification of potential innovative treatments” (RF-2010-2319745). Participant in numerous Ministerial Current Researches at the C. Mondino Neurological Institute. Responsible for numerous clinical trials and research in the “therapeutic effects of botulinum toxin” and research on neurogenic dysphagia and neuromuscular diseases of various types (Amyloidosis and Neuroimmunological Diseases of the Central and Peripheral Nervous System).

Scientific Director of a two-year course at the C. Mondino Neurological Institute, called “Dsphagia”, for specialist doctors (Neurologists, Neurophysiopathologists, Rehabilitators, Gastroenterologists, Phoniaters, Otolaryngologists), Speech therapists, Neurophysiopathology technicians and Physiotherapists.

In the period 2015-2018, Responsible for the National Neurological Institute “C. Mondino “of one of the Italian Centers of Excellence for training in the Master and Certification of Expert in Clinical Neurophysiology, on the proposal of the Italian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (SINC).

In 2011 design and institution at the Neurological Institute “C. Mondino “of a Service for the study and treatment of” Neurogenic dysphagias “. This Center avails itself of the multidisciplinary contribution of Neurologists, Neurophysiopathologists, Neurorehabilitators, Logopaedists, Gastroenterologists, Specialists in Nutrition Sciences / Endocrinologists, Otolaryngologists and Phoniaters and carries out clinical and research activities on hospitalized patients and outpatients.
